Biography

Steven Bielamowicz, MD, FACS is board-certified in Otolaryngology. He currently serves as the Director of the Voice Treatment Center, Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology,Program Director of the Otolaryngology residency program, and professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Bielamowicz received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 1988 and completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA in 1994. He became board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 1995. He completed a Laryngology fellowship at the NIH in 1996 and has an interest in the physiology and modeling of laryngeal function. Dr. Bielamowicz is the Program Director for the Otolaryngology training program and his clinical practice is limited to voice and swallowing disorders.
