Dr. Robert Jablonover is an internal medicine physician with The GW Medical Faculty Associates and an assistant professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Following his residency in Internal Medicine in 1992 at the University of Maryland, he worked at Sinai Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital in Baltimore, and Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He joined the MFA in 2005.
Having completed a fellowship in general internal medicine at Johns Hopkins and Bayview hospitals, he developed a strong interest in medical education. He enjoys teaching medical students and residents, has served as an associate residency director at Drexel, and as the clerkship director in internal medicine and primary care at GW, and is the recent recipient of several teaching awards.
Dr. Jablonover enjoys building long-term, trusting relationships with his patients and believes that active listening, strong rapport, responsiveness, and attentiveness are key to any physician-patient relationship.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
