Melissa is a board certified physician assistant (PA). She is originally from Syracuse, NY. She attended the University of Rochester and obtained her bachelors in biology with a minor in epidemiology. During that time, she worked as a clinic research coordinator in the emergency department (ED). After college, Melissa served as supervisor of the ED Research Associate Program (EDRA) at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Melissa then attended PA school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She has always been passionate about both oncology as well as women’s health and feels they are both incredibly rewarding fields. She strives to make all women feel comfortable during their visits. Prior to joining GW, Melissa had over a year of experience in hematology and oncology in Woodbridge, VA. Melissa is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
