Ivie Eweka, MD (she/her) is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist at The George Washington Medical Faculty Associates.
She grew up on Long Island, New York, and received a Bachelor of Science from the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Program at the City College of New York in Harlem, New York. She then earned her medical degree from the City University of New York School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University, gaining recognition for leadership and educational excellence through awards such as the Allan B. Weingold Education Award.
Dr. Eweka’s clinical interests include comprehensive contraception counseling, abortion care, minimally invasive and office-based gynecologic procedures, and undergraduate medical education. As a physician, she advocates for equitable access to care and is passionate about shared decision-making with patients. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys traveling, live music, and art.
