Deena Nasr, MHS, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as well as the Division of Hospital Medicine. She serves as Director of Advanced Practice Providers and Clinical Assistant Professor at the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program. Deena earned her BS in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland in College Park and her MS in Health Sciences at the Duke University School of Medicine. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed in the District of Columbia.
Deena's clinical interests include orthopaedic trauma, sports medicine, diabetes management, and women's health. The most rewarding aspect of Deena's role as a Physician Assistant is helping individuals improve their quality of life by empowering them to make educated decisions about their health.
