Anjali G. Martinez, MD, FACOG, is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with The GW Medical Faculty Associates and an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she served as the administrative chief resident during her final year of training. She then did a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Martinez stresses non-surgical and minimally-invasive approaches when caring for her patients. She is proud to offer office procedures including diagnostic hysteroscopy, saline infusion sonography, Essure sterilization, and LEEP to minimize the need to go to the Operating Room. Her interests include contraceptive options, management of abnormal pap tests, adolescent gynecology, and lactation/breastfeeding.
