Dr. Rachel Brem is a Breast Cancer Survivor and now a COVID-19 Survivor and she has an Important Message to Share with You

Dr. Rachel Brem is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology. She is a professor of radiology and the vice-chair of radiology at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Also, she is the director of Breast Imaging & Intervention. Dr. Brem arrived at the George Washington University in 2000 from the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, where she served as director of Breast Imaging. Since joining the faculty at GW, Dr. Brem along with her colleagues, have developed a state of the art, patient-focused Breast Imaging Center that integrates compassionate care with the latest technology including Full Field Digital Technology, Computer-Aided Detection, all approaches to Minimally Invasive Biopsy as well as MRI and Molecular Breast Imaging.

A breast cancer survivor herself, she has dedicated her professional and personal life to early detection of breast cancer and knew she would like to share her story about not only surviving breast cancer at a young age but also being diagnosed with and surviving COVID-19 recently.
